The Overmyer Center exists for the glory of God!
Serving the community of Hampton Roads and beyond, we present quality performances that rise “over the mire” of popular culture and bring uplifting and redemptive stories to life through the arts!
Our goal is to establish a structure for performances, musicals, holiday showcases, and summer intensives that will be a delight for the community and a transformational opportunity for each individual!
Our Vision
The vision of The Overmyer Center is to fill each year with an excellent lineup of positive entertainment and opportunities for the whole family!
In 2022, Summer Intensive Workshops will be available throughout the summer to cultivate a love for the arts, develop skills, and build character!
In the Fall, we will hold auditions and callbacks for the musical we will present in the Spring as well as offer a fun improv/comedy night and a fantastic “dinner and a show!” As the holidays approach, we will hold rehearsals for our Christmas performances and shows and will delight audiences with beautiful and heartfelt entertainment as we celebrate Christ, the Light of the World!
Spring of 2023 will be bustling with rehearsals for the spring musical and will feature two full weekends of performance shows to delight the community!
